I’m a professional groomer of 4 years and have been borrowing this brush from my coworker the last few weeks, finally decided to order my own. This thing is unmatched. Just as good as the $80 version, saves SO much time on brushing, works through small/med level of matting like a dream, and the dogs don’t seem to mind is as much as the cheap petsmart brush I’ve been using haha. Gonna recommend it to all poodle/doodle owners who like their dog a bit longer. Still wouldn’t use it on pelted or heavily matted dogs as the risk for brush burn is still there and comfort comes over beauty any day, but I use it when say ears and tails have a few mats in them and it works every time with minimal effort. Can’t wait until mine comes in so I don’t have to pester my coworker for hers every day :)

I contacted Garrett from We Love Doodles to ask him what type of brush he recommends for our doodle who hates being brushed. He was so kind and helpful and asked me what brush we currently use. It turns out, we had ordered the wrong type of slicker brush that isn't meant for doodles, no wonder our pup didn't like it.Garrett recommended this large, curved slicker brush which is specifically made for doodles and is a dupe for the Chris Christensen brush, which is more than double the cost!I'm so pleased with how well this brush smooths out the tangles on our doodle's curly coat. For the first time, he doesn't mind being brushed! It's gentle without pulling, a perfect size, and definite value for money.

I have a five year old F1B doodle and this brush has worked wonders! I have gone through so many brushes but this one keeps my pup fluffy! The size is great and the handle makes it easy. Great bang for your buck! Highly recommend!

This brush is a game changer! I have 2 other slicker brushes that I have just quit using for either being too harsh on the doodle coat and/or too harsh on me lol. This brush just glides over my doodle and grabs the coat gently as it moves. It leaves the coat silky and fluffy and removes hair and mats. This is the one, guys!

I run the metal comb through afterwards to make sure I did a good job and I’m just shocked by how it gets any knots and mats out. It’s really saving me from needing to take him to an expensive groomer as much

This is the absolute BEST brush and I’ve actually never found one that grabs my LuLu girl’s fur and truly does much. Lulu is a goldendoodle. This is excellent! She is almost 10 years old and this is the only brush I can say is truly, TRULY worth it!! Thank you!!!

I needed a brush to detangle and take knots out of my dogs coat before his matting got bad to where the groomers would have to shave him again. I was recommended this brush and it works miracles. Took knots out and left his hair super fluffy! I love it and so did my goldendoodle.

Love this brush. It is large enough that it doesn’t take all day to brush out my medium size doodle. The bristles are strong and stay put but do not hurt his skin. Definitely a good buy!

Takes care of my dogs fur, just wish easier to get fur off the brush

I was able to obtain a full refund.I changed my original 1 star review to 3 for this reason.This brush might work great if your dog has long hair but we keep our dog’s hair cut fairly short.Original review:For a brush that is hailed as being ergonomic and easy to use, it falls very short.The handle is very thin and curved, which makes it difficult to hold if you have normal sized hands. I had to hold it sideways, which caused some joint pain in my hand.There are no rubberized tips on the end of the brush needles- this caused pain during brushing my Bichon-Poodle mix. He would struggle every time I brushed him with this new $30 brush, but used to love being brushed by the $8 PetCo slicker brush (with a comfortable handle and rubberized needle tips).It is difficult to clean the hair out of the brush bc the needles are very long and no rubber tips causes a lot of pokes and pain.Yesterday was the decision point for me to return this product, because it broke the skin on my dog‘s tail. I had no idea until a minute or two later I noticed the blood on his tail.I DO NOT recommend this overpriced, poorly-designed brush for your dog brushing needs.

I recently purchased a dog brush and I am very pleased with the quality and design of the product. The brush has an ergonomic design which makes it very comfortable to use, and the bristles are of good quality which ensures effective brushing without causing any discomfort to my furry friend.One of the most remarkable things about this brush is that it actually works for dematting. I have a X-Large curly puppy who always gets tangled up and it has been a real challenge to brush him. We got a cockapoo puppy a few months ago and we’ve been through 3-4 different brushes. None of them really worked for our pup. I found this one, bought it a couple of weeks ago and it works great! It gets the mats out and keeps my pup’s hair soft.

I’ve tried cheap brushes, human brushes, & expensive brushes. This one so far is the best.The metal pins are long enough to get through her long hair. And no static electricity when I brush her out!! It’s a decent weight…not too heavy, but heavy enough to get down in the hair without having to push the brush down against her. It’s not going to pull through any mats, but it’s not designed to. The pillow flexes just enough so I know when I hit a mat and can get out the comb/detangle juice/scissors. It has made daily brushing very manageable.I like the brush so much I’ve started using it on my hair!! It feels REALLY good on the scalp.

I have a standard poodle and use this pin brush between grooming days. It does work great but the pins stink, smells like brass, like dirty coins.

Wow, what a beautiful brush! I first used it on my own hair because I have fine hair that tangles and mats easily similar to a doodle. It was great for removing tangles. The pins are very long and flexible and gentle and don’t cause any discomfort. When I used it on my goldendoodle it went easily through his thick coat and removes tangles and dead hair very well. The brush looks beautiful and is well made with a wooden handle. It works great but I may not give it to the dog, I like it too much. Definitely recommend for both human and dog.

I'll start by saying that I don't have a doodle, I groom my rough coated collies with this brush. The pin length is perfect 👌🏽 for daily grooming and ringside finishing! It's a well made, sturdy brush, with rounded pins, and well worth the price; it's actually better than my fancy Chris Christensen brush.

The brush itself works as expected. Gets my Sheepadoodle's coat prepared for slicker brushing. Nothing miraculous but does the job. After using this a few times it smells awful. A wierd metalic smell that I can't stand. Like cheap jewelry after being worn a few times but on steroids. I stopped using the brush because of it.

Tried a couple brushes for my little English cocker spaniel and this one wins. It went through all of his coat without pulling his hair contrary to other brushes I tried for long haired dogs, removed some of the already spring shedding coat and made his coat look smoother due to the shedding coat taken off. P.s there were two places where his coat was about to be become matted due to snow and it went through it like butter without any detangling product.

The brush glided through my dogs coats! I have 3 breeds, pomeranian, sheltie and collies. They all have double coats and this brush worked awesome! Going to order another one so I have a spare.

Have bought way too many brushes for our bernedoodle that don't work. This one has longer 'bristles' and goes right through her thick hair. She hates being brushed but tolerates this one! That is a plus!

Great brush comparable to a professional brush at a much lower cost. Great when line brushing my sheltie.
