Please allow my foray into the wide world of very expensive Reef Safe suncreen to benefit someone other than just my family. We purchased just about every brand imaginable for our 10 day babymoon in the southern Caribbean (in May), and Thrive blew all of the others out of the water. (ThinkKids, Sport, + Baby left a prominent cast, Kokua ruined every piece of clothing it came into contact with, Maui Surfer left an even more aggressive white cast and was tough to apply, Bluelizard was ok but also pretty cast-y.) Thrive left by far the least amount of cast, smelled great, and most of all kept my pale + pregnant skin safe, as well as my husband's even paler skin. This is the one to go with if you're trying to decide. (We reapplied frequently, every 2 hours or so.)

We'd been planning a trip to Hawaii for years, delayed even longer by the pandemic. On the plus side that did give us plenty of time to research. I wanted to get a reef-safe sunscreen, rather than have to rely in what I could find once we got there. This one was on several lists of the best sunscreens.I wanted something that was safe for us and safe for the reefs. The zinc oxide formula in this sunscreen was very effective, even for my sister who usually burns easily. It went on comfortably, and it smelled great! I have some left over, and even though we're nowhere near any reefs now, I still reach for this sunscreen when I'm going to be out in the sun for any length of time!

Like this product. Will def use during pregnancy. I am an african american woman. Always on the hunt for mineral/ safe skincare products for use while pregnant/ nursing. Product light in texture. Not pasty like a lot of them are. Also not quite milky like a few of my k beauty ones. Ot is def white white, but it melts easily into the skin. You really have to look to see ant cast. This will be a staple for summertime, just for my body. Not for face. It is a decent amount, but not sharing size for the price and amount you get. It isn't greasy feeling, and also gives you a sheen. A few mineral sunscreens don't work for A.A. skin because they create a dry effect. So this one is great. It is vegan, and smells light, I don't prefer the scent. But it doesn't last long. It also contains antioxidants to regenerate your skin. Give it a shot. I took some photos of my skin with it being applied at different stages sonyou can see how is applies. I know everyone's phone color tone/ saturation is different, so for reference in Mac I am a nc50. I hope thos review helps

Great feel , great coverage.Feel like it's even moisturizing.But what I really really really care for and why I will keep buying over other sunscreens is the sustainable packaging.I appreciate the Badger sustainable tin very much... and will probably keep in my bag for touch ups... but Badger doesn't have the same easy and expansive application that Thrive does.

I like this sunscreen as it is easy to use, seems to do a good job of sun protection and smell decent!

The product is thick, it does leave a white caste, if that bothers you. My main issue is that it smells very strongly like oranges. Overwhelmingly strong scent. It gave me a headache. If you are sensitive to fragrance, then this may not be for you. The upside is that I can put it on when I do yard work and the mosquitoes don't bother me.

Product is exactly what I expected. Works great and is great for the skin. Also smells good! Will definitely purchase again!
