We raise Golden Retrievers. After having puppies and while nursing, it's hard to keep weight on the dogs quite often. We bought this to try and see if we could get some weight on one of our girls. She loved it! She would get so excited every time she heard the bag being picked up! We used it for about a month, but within a week she was looking so good! We're no longer using it, simply because she's at a good weight and doesn't need it anymore, but I'll definitely be using it again!

She's motivated to eat and is even eating her hard food in addition to this. (I'm also giving her turmeric in fish oil as well as CBD oil, but I give those separately.) I don't think she cares one way or the other about the flavor of this stuff, which is a good thing because she's very picky.This is one of TWO high-calorie supplements I could find that didn't have corn syrup/malt syrup listed as the first two ingredients. (Seriously?!?) And it's helping me to save her, or at the very least to provide her with a high quality of life way beyond when she was supposed to live. Giving a sick animal (or person) high-quality nutrition and the motivation to eat is the greatest gift you can give and is the best chance at health. I'm delighted that I found this stuff.

The weight gainer is helpful for my almost 20 year old cat. However, the last order they sent me the vision support instead. Unable to return. I'll have to reorder the correct item because my cat does need it and it helped save her life a couple years ago.

This mixes easily with food, my finicky cat doesn't seem to notice it. Its a very fine powder. Hoping it works out for him, but its still to early to see results.Its packaged in a resealable plastic pouch, mine didn't reseal until the powder was dug out of the grooves, its messy to scoop. It would be better in a canister like formula or protein powder.The company shipped it by placing an adhesive mailing label directly on the package front covering over all the product info, including the instructions. I wouldn't have known what it was if the return address didn't have the company name. At least put it on the back?

Terrible taste my dogs won’t eat it. I was forced to add ground beef into the wet dog food for them to eat the powder. All, This item does is dehydrates your animal to the MAX! Your dog will walk around with his mouth open and their urine turn dark yellow/golden/brown. They drink water as if they were being worked out. I’m sure this item is terrible on their kidneys and liver. Won’t buy it again

I would give it one star but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was my fault or my cat. I'd been trying to feed her less like the vet said and she lost a little but not much, so I thought I would try this. I didn't talk to my vet first. I had to add a little wet food to mix it with and tried to give Sophie less dry food, but now after about 2 months her weight has not changed. (At least she didn't gain any more.) But she is begging more and she has gotten used to yummy but more expensive wet food. Epic fail if you ask me. But talk to your vet.

Cat noticed supplement right away, At the present time has more energy. Weight management ??? I have to wait. No noticeable side effect. Ate without problems. Noticed, but didn't complain.

The Lexelium Organic Weight Management Supplement actually took a while to work, but this has helped my dog from just devouring his food like a hungry goblin.He actually has food leftover throughout the day. Happy with the results!!

This is basically herbal Meth for dogs. I gave my 75 lb Blue Heeler less than 1/8 of recommended dose and she began to pant very very rapidly, she displayed anxiety and her heart was racing. I don't think this product is safe!
